Expired Calender Craft!

Being a “working girl”,post college, has not only limited my spending and the possibility of a life, but has also opened the door to many crafty opportunities that are economical, inexpensive, and amusing.
During my time off, I've been attempting to get rid of the clutter that has accumulated in the past year. However there are just some things I cannot bear to throw away; such as my 2012 Audrey Hepburn Calender

Twenty-twelve has been a hell of year. It has marked the end of my college years, the establishment of who I am and who I can be, the beginning of career opportunities and the responsibility of making my dreams come true.  It is also the year that I was able to document all of these instances on my sick calendar whilst being provided with vivid and rare photos of Audrey Hepburn on a monthly basis.

Being a huge admirer of the late Audrey Hepburn and feeling the need to be creative, I decided that I’d create my own work of art  that many of you can do to.

Supplies:
Expired Calender
A Canvas of any size
Foam Sponge Brushes
Mod Podge (Gloss)
Scissors

While saving the close ups of Audrey Hepburn for a separate canvas' craft, I cropped the long shot portraits into thick rectangular strips that where the same length as the canvas.

After, I simply spread a considerable amount of mod podge on the photos; making sure to get all of the edges and corners as well as an equal amount on the canvas.
** Determine the amount of mod podge by the quality of the film or paper.

Once each photo was pasted I made sure to smooth out all of the air bubbles from under and then brushed a thin layer of mod podge on top of it.
